Long Weekend!

Well, since both of us were out of school for good ole' Presidents Day we took a fun little trip. We were invited by the Gillis family to join them in a trip to their cabin for a weekend of winter fun. It was a pretty nice weekend, so it did turn out great. We arrived on Saturday morning, Toby, Trent, and myself. The gillis's were already there. That afternoon we took a 3 hour snowmobiling ride. Sunday, we woke up and Trent and I were in charge of breakfast, luckily we had to have a quick breakfast because we had a 30 minute drive to sacrament meeting. Anyway, we drove out to the nearest church in wyoming and attended their sacrament meeting...that was interesting. I am not a huge fan of the cold, so I stayed in the rest of the day playing many fun games with everyone there...catch phrase, apples to apples, dice, family fued, are you smarter than a fifth grader...all fun stuff. Anyway, we went sledding on a nearby hill around midnight....and it was not too cold. Here are some pics and videos of our fun adventure!

Here I am freezing on the top of a windy hill we snowmobiled to

This is the lovely view from the top of what felt as cold as Mount Everest!
This is the group of us...I am waving at ya...Trent is taking the pic.

Here is Toby...

This is the sled that Joni and I share...she wasn't there yet, so I had it on our ride!

looks so so fun! i agree with you on the cold--it's fun for a minute but I'm a happy lil camper inside being warm and playing games!

Nice looking sled in the last pic. That machine is a DREAM! I am glad I got to see some pictures... I was sad that I couldn't come. But it was probably better for you and Joni: That way you didn't have to share your sled with a third person!

Cute new background, I love it. So I went to the screening today, waste of time. But a couple of people found pt's so hopefully they'll pass them on.
