What to do when bored...
This weekend Trent and I helped his parents out with a basement project that his mom had been looking forward to us doing. It was all a huge surprise to his dad, but his mom was in on it. We all got together and decided to buy him a new flat screen tv for his birthday. Then, we decided to paint their basement and get them a new tv stand...this was for Joni...for her birthday. So they were both gone for the afternoon on Saturday, and Trent and I went and set up to get this stuff done. With Toby, we got it all painted and then we had to build the new tv stand and get it set up...this took a lot more time than we had planned for, but we got it done. Those furniture in a box things...not so much fun. Anyway...here is the end result. It took us about 4 1/2 hours total to clear everything out, paint, build the tv stand, and set the tv up. We then called his parents to come home and waited for the big reveal. They were excited and Larry(Trent's dad) was really surprised. They both do so much for us, we just wanted to do something nice for them. We love you both and appreciate everything you do for your kids!

Ryan will be so happy. He said that Larry should get Grandma's TV when she is gone since he is not, "up to date"!
