Over the 4th of July, we went to Fish Lake. This is something that Trent's family does every year over this holiday weekend, so it was fun to visit with the family. We did a lot this time too. We went 4-wheeling, biking, jogging, hiking, fishing, played games, and ate lots of food!
We had pretty nice weather while there, except the day we had a huge hailstorm...it looked like it had snowed.
I got home from that camping trip, to attend Girls Camp, I am the Miamaid advisor. This year camp was at Heber Valley Camp, which is the absolute best place to have girls' camp. It was really nice cabins, equipped with showers, running water, nice bathrooms and great things for the girls to do.

After camp, we went for more camping, this time with my family...to Strawberry Reservoir. It was beautiful. The water was warm and nice. We skiied, rode the tubes and hung out in the sun. I have been reading the Harry Potter series for the first time this year, and this trip was a good time to get lots of relaxing and reading in. I am on the 5th book now! Hooray, only 2 more!
Also been happening with us, Trent took summer school, so he's been busy with that, and we've been working as hard as ever. Actually, I am getting pretty tired of work, although I really love my job. Sometimes you just wish you didn't have to do it though.
This week Trent was also a sweetie and surprised me with a really fun date. He gave me 5 envelopes that each had a clue in them and I had to figure each part of the date out. We went to Macaroni Grill for dinner, then to Gateway to do some shopping, then at home he had chocolate covered strawberries waiting...mmmm. The shopping was a well earned trip, as I have refrained from all shopping(aside from groceries) since the 10-shoe incident this Spring...what a good girl I am!! So, Trent thought I had earned myself a small shopping spree! How nice it was!

Hey Cas! It's good to hear from you again. I know what you mean about work getting tiring, I was starting to get really burned out too. I just went on a weeklong vacation so we will see if that helps. It's good that you are out having a lot of fun this summer, that should help! Matt and I just moved to Midvale, it's not too far from where you live I think so we should get together sometime. I just started reading Harry Potter too! I just finished the first book and I really like them, surprising huh!

Cute hair! It's way cute that dark! I know what you mean about work too! I just took a third day ARG! I swore I would never work more than two, but ya do what you have to I guess. :P We need to get together again and see New Moon!! Another GNO!
