Baby stuff

Well since Christmas is over we have been gradually buying some of the stuff we have to have for the baby. Trent has painted the nursery, built a dresser, built a crib, and we bought a recliner for the room. It is still not decorated, but some sneak peak pics are below.
We got money from Trent's parents for Christmas so we bought a carseat and stroller...I had to get grey and yellow to match my diaper bag.
We painted the room a gray color that I love. I am going for warm and calm in the nursery. I was originally going to just do grays, browns, and whites with a few accent colors. I saw this bedding for 50 bucks on clearance at target so I bought it. It goes really well and will add some color.

This dresser is my favorite! It is from Ikea. It is gray with white knobs, and I love Ikea because their furniture has organizers that you can buy! Double score. I decided not to get a dresser/changing table combo because I wanted to just get him a nice dresser he can have forever and we won't have to upgrade it later. I am still undecided on whether I want/need a changing table, tell me what you think?!

A belly shot at 25 weeks. Yikes, I never feel like I look this big, until I see a picture!

My chicco carseat. We went to babies r us and played with everything and this was by far the easiest to use, plus it's cute, plus its got the best safety ratings you can get for infant seats! I opted not to get the travel system stroller combo thing because they are huge, so instead we got the carseat caddy. Best. Purchase. Ever. I love how small it is, and its a one-handed fold up, plus the carseat snaps right in. Then when he gets bigger we will get a jogging stroller or something else to use!

My mom bought me this as an alternative to a bassinet. I think I am going to like it. It is portable and the perfect height next to my bed! It's the fisher-price rock and play sleeper.

I saw this idea for a mobile above the crib on pinterest. It's a DIY but I can't decide if it is too girly. I love how it looks, but I am having a BOY, so I don't know yet, what do you all think?

Love the gray, you are gonna love that carseat, don't get a changing table just put a pad on top of the cute dresser.

First of all, you are a freakin adorable pregnant lady!! Second I love all the stuff...carseat is the best(I love that I am not the only person who has to have their bag match their carseat), stroller is brilliant(I should have done that), love the colors and bedding in the room, and we just can't wait to meet your little guy!! You are so beautiful Casandra. You look great! I love all the cute stuff you picked out for him! I wish I would have gotten a little stroller like that for our Chicco car seat! The Chicco one is gigantic! And we love that Fisher Price rocker! Aiden sleeps so well in it and it is so handy to just pack up and take places :)
