Seattle~
We went on a last minute, quick trip to Seattle this past weekend. We just decided to go on a whim about 4 days before we left. It was so much fun! I love Seattle...the food, the shopping, the skyline, the mountains, the ocean, its all right there. We were only there for 3 days, so we definitely have to go back, but we did get to do a few of the highlights while we were there. We went to the famous Pike's Place Market, where the fish fly. It was awesome, I wish they had a place like that in SLC, fresh produce, meat, seafood, pasta, and flowers daily. They had these huge flowers for like 10 bucks! We also went to the aquarium, which was awesome. It is right on the pier, and they have some really cool stuff. Some of our favorites were the giant octupus, the tide pools-where you can touch all the animals, and I loved the sea lions and sea otters. We also went up the space needle. It was an amazing view, but the heights were not my favorite. The only unfortunate thing about the trip was that it rained really hard(more than their normal) until Saturday evening, and we missed a perfect 80 degree weekend in SLC, but oh well!

We just went 2 weeks ago, too bad we weren't there over the same weekend. It was beautiful, I'd never been
FUN!!!!! GEt it all in now before kids come and you can't! I'm glad you had fun, next time stuff me in a bag and take me with!!

Oh I wish I could have seen you guys! I live in Seattle, and yes it was a very rainy weekend. Here we have 2 seasons, 3 Months of Summer and 9 Months of Rain :) I do really miss the snow!

So we did 2 different hikes. The first day we did Angels landing, which is one of the harder & most popular ones. it's 5 miles, takes about 4 hours-that was awesome. Then Sunday we did Emerald Pools which is an easier one, 3 miles. You should go for sure!
